The Culinary Quick Start program (CQS) is a fast-track program offered through Emily Griffith Technical College designed for immediate career connections. In only three weeks, participating students will acquire the skills needed to enter the workforce quickly as a qualified culinary professional. After learning exactly what employers are looking for in the industry, students participate in resume and interview preparation to further prepare them for a hiring fair at the end of the course with leading companies in the area looking for new talent. CQS is free for students, with no academic requirements and no previous culinary experience necessary. Over 500 CQS graduates are now working in the culinary industry in the Denver Metro Area, since the program started in 2017.
