Job Summary

Crispy Cones is seeking a dependable and energetic Shift Lead to support the daily operations of our store. The Shift Lead plays a vital role in leading the team, upholding product quality, and ensuring that every guest receives an exceptional experience. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for leadership, customer service, and working in a fast-paced food service environment.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and motivate team members to ensure smooth and efficient shift operations.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment by communicating clearly with staff and guests.

  • Oversee opening and closing responsibilities, ensuring all operational tasks are completed efficiently.

  • Monitor product quality and preparation standards to maintain consistency and excellence.

  • Address and resolve any issues that arise during the shift in a calm and professional manner.

  • Ensure cleanliness and safety in the prep, service, and cooking areas in compliance with health regulations.

  • Maintain flexibility with scheduling, including availability for morning, night, and weekend shifts, including Sundays.

  • Represent Crispy Cones’ values and standards while creating memorable experiences for guests.

 

Knowledge

  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and food safety procedures.

  • Familiarity with opening and closing procedures in a retail or food service setting.

  • Understanding of leadership principles and guest service standards.

Skills

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities during each shift.

  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • At least 1 year of restaurant or food service experience preferred.

  • Must be at least 18 years old due to the nature of the work.
