Young Professionals: Happy Hour at Launch Pad Brewery
Young Professionals Happy Hour!
Please join us at Launch Pad Brewery for a cold beer and networking.
This event is generously sponsored by the Community College of Aurora:
During the networking event, we will hear from fellow Rotarians and learn about the Rotary Club, its purpose, and its service to the community.
The Rotary Club is a global network of community service organizations that brings together business professionals and community leaders to address local and international humanitarian needs. Rotary clubs are found in nearly every country and are known for their commitment to service, fellowship, and ethical leadership.
Membership in Rotary is based on a professional or business classification, ensuring that each club represents a diverse range of industries and expertise. Rotarians meet regularly to network, exchange ideas, and plan projects that make a positive impact in their communities. By leveraging their skills, resources, and connections, Rotary members work together to create lasting change.
The primary focus of Rotary is service to others. Rotary clubs undertake a wide range of projects and initiatives to address community needs, such as promoting education, eradicating poverty, supporting healthcare initiatives, providing clean water and sanitation, and fostering peace and conflict resolution. They also support international exchange programs, vocational training, and scholarships to empower individuals and communities.
Rotary clubs are guided by the principles of Rotary International, which include the Four-Way Test: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? These principles serve as a moral compass for Rotary members in their personal and professional lives.
