Work Well 2.0 Health Series - Substance Abuse Affecting Businesses

We’ve all seen the headlines. Heroin and prescription drug abuse are now an epidemic in our community. The legalization of marijuana in Colorado has made the drug much more accessible and now, coupled with alcohol abuse, creates a significant risk to the employer. No business is immune from addiction; nearly 75% of all drug and heavy alcohol users are employed.
