10:00am - 3:00pm: R BAZAAR!
Come do some early holiday shopping at R BAZAAR - a pop-up market celebrating refugee and immigrant businesses (and organizations who support them). The shopping experience will take place in a heated tent in the parking lot (cooler temperatures aren’t stopping us!). For a sneak preview of vendors, click here.
1:00pm - 3:00pm: VEC Opening Celebration!
Join us inside VEC for opening festivities - Confirmed speakers now include:
- Mayor Steve Hogan
- Bishop Jim Gonia
- Iman Jodeh (Meet the Middle East)
- Papa Dia (African Leadership Group)
- Marcelina Rivera (Aurora Public Schools)
- Joe Horther (Colorado Refugee Services Program).
Special performances will include the Flamenco/Jazz fusion of Miguel Espinoza, the Congolese Choir and the Bhutanese Community of Colorado Youth Dance Group!
