Special Note: The Aurora Branch of the NAACP is fortunate to have its founder Dr. Barbara Shannon Banister as an active member. In 2020 we lost Gaurdie Banister our first branch president to COVID. He was also the husband of Dr. Barbara Shannon Banister. This Economic Development Center is the result of their hard work along with previous administrations.
