Polar Plunge for Special Olympics at Aurora Reservoir

FREEZIN? FOR A REASON? it?s the 2015 Polar Plunge presented by Westerra Credit Union. Show your support for over 15,000 Special Olympics athletes in Colorado by plunging into icy waters and raising money for Special Olympics.

Here?s how it works: 
Start a team or join a team (the more the merrier!) and ask your family and friends to pledge money towards your plunge. There are great incentives for reaching certain fundraising levels, and all proceeds benefit our amazing and courageous Special Olympics athletes. For example, by raising $250, you are funding training and competition for one athlete in his or her sport for the entire season! 

We encourage everyone in the community to get involved ? schools, fraternities, sororities, corporations, law enforcement agencies, groups of friends and families?
everyone can contribute something to make the event special.

Prizes will be awarded to the Highest Fundraising Individual, Highest Fundraising Team, Highest Fundraising LETR Team, and Most Team Spirit (based on best costume & spirit)!
