The August 9, 2012 meeting of the Chamber Healthcare committee is a tour of the Work, Education and Lifelong Learning Simulation (WELLS) Center at the Anschutz Medical Campus.
The WELLS Center, operated by the University of Colorado Hospital (UCH), offers state-of-the-art patient simulation tools for building clinical knowledge, advancing multi-disciplinary expertise in health care and preparing facilities for operational readiness through systems and process review. The WELLS Center is equipped with 11 high-fidelity mannequins along with the Virtual Human DissectorTM, which combines the power of cadaver dissection with the technology and convenience of virtual reality.
Please join us for interactive demonstrations and learn more about educating the 21st century health care workforce.
The Healthcare committee reviews the many challenges businesses face in meeting today’s healthcare affordability crisis, to suggest possible solutions to the problems, and educate the professional community and the public on what the issues are and the great need to address them quickly.
