Game On! An Afterhours Gamer Celebration held May 1st, 2013 will be held from 4p-8p benefitting the Aurora Museum Foundation. The ticket price will be $25 and we are expecting 90 guests. Game On! An Afterhours Gamer Celebration centers around the Aurora History Museum’s exhibit “Growing Up Gamer: A History of Video Games.” Nintendo or Sega? Oregon Trail or Carmen Sandiego? Come relive your childhood and find out more about the history of video games, their influence on pop culture, and how they revolutionized the way we learn.
The exhibit shows at the museum from February 12-May 26, 2013 and Game On! invites guests to view the exhibit, enjoy food and drinks, hear a speaker, and walk to the Aurora Library for a viewing of the original movie TRON. The event will also include a musical presentation by the Aurora Symphony Orchestra. If you have any further questions, you may contact our Development Assistant Kat Reynolds at kat.reynolds@auroramuseumfoundation.org or 303-739-6705.
