Eisenhower Speakers College Program 
The Community College of Aurora and the Aurora Chamber’s Defense Council will host the United States Army War College’s Eisenhower Speakers College Program Thursday, May 3, at 7:00 p.m. in the college’s Student Centre, Room 100. World Denver is the sponsoring organization of the event which honors Bill Wiggins and his wife, Molly Link, long-time supporters of the college, the Aurora Chamber, and World Denver.
 
Four Army War College students will speak briefly on current topics of strategic interest and then participate in a moderated discussion and an informal question and answer session.
The speakers and their topics include:
*       Lt. Col. Jason Burkett, U.S. Marine Corps:  The Space Domain - The Achilles’ Heel of U.S. Military Domination?
*       Lt. Col. Matthew Humphrey, U.S. Marine Corps:  The Increasing Role of Military Aviation in American Power
*       Lt. Col. Bryan Kirk, U.S. Army Special Forces:  Afghanistan - What Does "Winning" Mean?
*       Lt. Col. Ryan Montanez, U.S. Air Force, Special Tactics and Rescue:  Post Traumatic Stress and its Effect on our Military

Accompanying the team will be War College faculty member USAF Col. Edward Kaplan, General Hoyt S. Vandenberg Chair of Aerospace Studies, Department of National Security and Strategy.
 
The Eisenhower Speakers College Program is a fifty-year-old outreach effort by the Army War College to higher education and community audiences around the nation. Each year, selected students preparing for senior military and policy positions travel nationwide to strengthen connections between the American military and the society it serves.
