Melissa has been with UCHealth since January 2017 and has been the manager of talent optimization and equity and a member of the office of diversity, equity, and inclusion (ODEI). In her previous role, Melissa created a framework for succession planning and talent development. In doing this, she was instrumental in raising the profile of UCHealth’s diverse talent to senior leaders across the system.
Melissa also spearheaded the military friendly initiative at UCHealth. She created a committee that supports effective hiring and onboarding of service members while ensuring that we identify, retain and celebrate our existing military service team. Melissa has also served as a president and workforce diversity chair of a regional human resource association and, in 2018, became the Society for Human Resource Management inclusion captain for the State of Colorado.
She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay, and a Masters in Organizational Leadership and Management from Regis University.
