Business for the Arts Committee - Tour of 7/20 Memorial
The September 4 meeting of the Business for the Arts committee is a "Field Trip" to tour the 7/20 Memorial that was officially dedicated on July 27, 2018. VP of the Memorial Board Heather Dearman, and City of Aurora Public Art Assistant Carina Banuelos-Harrison will conduct the tour that will include how the plans for the memorial evolved, what the memorial represents, and the selection process and details about the artwork. Following the tour, the group will assemble in the Aspen Room of the Aurora Municipal Center for coffee, snacks, and further discussion.
