Annual Awards Banquet & Silent Auction
REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CLOSED......
On April 7, 2022, The Aurora Chamber of Commerce will host our Annual Awards Banquet and Silent Auction to recognize and honor the achievements and efforts of outstanding leaders in the Eastern Metro Area.
These awards are intended to honor individuals and businesses making a substantial contribution to the Aurora Chamber of Commerce and/or the community. As a result of the nominee's efforts, The Chamber and the community have received substantial benefits, and the community has become a better place to live, work, and recreate.
This is The Aurora Chamber's largest event of the year, where we enjoy an evening of networking and celebration of our members' amazing achievements! We usually have 500 to 600 people attend this event including government officials, top executives from large corporations, community leaders, community partners, and military leaders.
Details of this event are as follows:
- Theme: Wild West / Attire: Western Wear
- Entertainment, food, refreshments, Silent Auction and endless networking will be provided
- Additional entertainment is currently being organized
- Due to alcoholic beverages being served at this event, this will be an adult only event
- MC for the evening is former KEZW Radio Personality and Executive Director of the Colorado Freedom Memorial Foundation, Rick Crandall.

- Grilled Salmon with Lemon Caper Sauce, Asparagus and Mashed Potatoes
- Grilled Vegetable Napoleon with Portobello Mushroom, Green Zucchini, Grilled Zucchini, Grilled Polenta, Red Bell Pepper, Basil Oil, & Tomato Coulis
- Grilled Steak Tenderloin with Demi Glace Sauce, Asparagus, and Mashed Potatoes
- Grilled Chicken Breast with Mushroom Sauce, Asparagus, and Mashed Potatoes
The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Denver Aurora at 13696 E Iliff Pl, Aurora, CO 80014 is offering a rate of $99 plus tax for the night and offering free shuttle service until 10:30pm.

BUSINESS OF THE YEAR - AURORA-SOUTH METRO SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER
For outstanding service during 2021 by a Chamber business member who has contributed to the community and quality of life through its business practices, employees, and community involvement
BUSINESSPERSON OF THE YEAR - CHRIS FASCHING
For outstanding service during 2021 by a Chamber member who has enhanced the community's economic base and has increased the quality of life for residents, employees, and visitors.
CHAMBER LEADERSHIP AWARD - REBECCA KELLEY
For outstanding performance by a Chamber member during 2021 which furthered The Chamber's missions, objectives and programs.
WOMAN OF THE YEAR - BETH BRAATEN
For distinguished service by a Chamber member who has advanced the community's civic, cultural and/or governmental interests and objectives during 2021, and has been successful in moving others toward that vision
MAN OF THE YEAR - STEVE O'DORISIO
For distinguished service by a Chamber member who has advanced the community's civic, cultural and/or governmental interests and objectives during 2021, and has been successful in moving others toward that vision
HUMANITARIAN AWARD - RODEO DENTAL AND ORTHODONTICS
For exemplary service in the human services field by a community member who has demonstrated standards of excellence, tackled difficult issues, fostered collaboration, and offered creative problem solving to matters involving medical, philanthropic, educational, social, economic and/or religious interests.
COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AWARD - YVONNE VALDEZ
An individual or organization contributing commendable civic participation, resulting in an increase in the quality of life for citizens. These contributions demonstrate a commitment to the community through perseverance, optimism, and an unfailing ability to bring others on board to participate in positive change and community events/activities.
SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR - DION'S PIZZA
For outstanding contributions to the community through involvement in community projects, organizational affiliations, special service in the area, and growth - based on revenues and/or number of employees during the past year.
KEN MELCHER AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR AWARD - SANJAY TYAGI
For demonstrating the finest qualities of a representative of The Chamber and of the community, by consistently exhibiting high standards of professionalism, exceptional participation in Chamber events, a welcoming demeanor, and promoting the overall objectives of The Chamber
