They will identify the characteristics and mindset all successful women share and discuss the characteristics of effective leaders in the 21st-century workplace (Hint: they're not what they once were).\n\n\n\n*Pizza and drinks will be provided for lunch*\n\n\n\nAbout Our Speakers:\n\n\n\n\n\nDr. Sherri Adams\n\n\n\nDr. Sherri Adams is a seasoned HR professional with over 15 years of dedicated expertise. Currently positioned as the Learning and Development Principal at Conga Corporation\, she plays a pivotal role in shaping the professional growth of the organization's global workforce. Dr. Adams also serves as an Assistant Professor of Business and Management for Colorado Technical University and received her Associate of Coaching Certification (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation in June 2023\, a testament to her unwavering dedication to continuous learning.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDr. Trish Elley\n\n\n\nDr. Trish Elley has been in higher education for 20 years. Currently\, she is a Business Lead Instructor for Colorado Technical University. In this position\, Dr. Elley supports and develops business faculty online and on campus. She also focuses her time on campus and online projects and events to increase career readiness for CTU students.  Lastly\, she was the 2023's Distinguished Faculty of the Year Finalist. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe Women in Business Committee serves as a voice for all women in business\, acting as an advocate on issues that affect their professional growth and long-term economic vitality.
