SUMMARY:Women in Business Committee Presents: Denver Botanic Gardens
DESCRIPTION:The Women in Business Committee serves as a voice for all women in business\, acting as an advocate on issues that affect their professional growth and long term economic vitality. Our June meeting will be held at the beautiful Denver Botanic Gardens.  We will have a guest speaker\, Jen Tobias (Associate Director of Exhibitions & Art Collections) after which we are welcome to walk and enjoy the beautiful gardens - don't forget to check out their current outdoor exhibition Spirit Guides\, which is quite spectacular!\n\nThe Botanic Gardens will have food and beverages available for purchase at their various snack stands throughout the gardens\, We hope to support the Botanic Gardens' concessions team!\n\n\n\nJen Tobias is the Associate Director of Exhibitions and Art Collections and Curator of Art at Denver Botanic Gardens\, where she works to combine art\, science\, and creative technologies for meaningful and unexpected experiences. Tobias holds an MA with Distinction in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester\, where her studies focused on museums in the metaverse\, and a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Tobias has worked with exhibitions\, art\, and data in a number of institutions\; she's a metadata evangelist and an art history nerd who is interested in how virtual experience changes and is changed by physical experience.
