There are also parking meters on most blocks around the Capitol (please do not park at the meters with a yellow bag on them\; these are reserved for Capitol employees and you will get ticketed for parking at one).\n\nThere are two public entrances: a ground floor entrance on the south side of the building (14th & Sherman)\, and a first-floor entrance on the north side (Colfax & Sherman). All visitors must go through the security checkpoint.\n\nAfter entering the building\, please go to the first floor toward the big staircase and rotunda.
