SUMMARY:Health Series - Healthy Living and Equity after COVID
DESCRIPTION:We will look at what the "basics" of healthy nutrition and physical activity may look like since the pandemic\, and how to make them a priority among all the needs employers are juggling. We'll have ideas for forming policies and guidelines\, holding equitable challenges\, and offering/supporting employees in programs such as the Diabetes Prevention Program.  (An instructor from Tri-County's DPP program will present.) In taking a new look at healthy eating\, hunger and food insecurity have increased since the onset of COVID\, so we will have a speaker from Hunger Free Colorado to share statistics and solutions employers may utilize to support their workforce.
