DESCRIPTION:Lauren is a Human Resources Business Partner with Pinnacol Assurance\, the leading workers' compensation insurance carrier in Colorado. Lauren provides ongoing\, strategic HR support to a variety of Pinnacol teams including Apprentice Program\, Human Resources\, Learning & Organization Development\, Marketing\, Communications\, and IT.  She also supports Pinnacol's digital subsidiary Cake Insure. Lauren works to forge strategic partnerships with her teams to help them achieve their goals and support Pinnacol's culture of caring. She has a keen ability to understand others' perspectives\, and help those around her feel welcome\, included and accepted. \n\n \n\nPrior to joining Pinnacol in 2016\, Lauren served in talent acquisition roles at Saks Fifth Avenue\, HBC\, and Korn/Ferry Future Step. She holds a BS in psychology from the University of Houston. She loves spending time with her family and pets\, as well as reading\, and yoga. \n\n \n\nLauren will be discussing the challenges of how we attract and hire the right people.
