SUMMARY:BRMAC Community Day at Buckley
DESCRIPTION:Overview\n\nJoin the Buckley Regional Military Affairs Council (BRMAC) for an exclusive Community Day at Buckley Space Force Base\, one of America's most strategically vital military installations. Nestled just east of Denver in Aurora\, Buckley is home to all six branches of the U.S. military and anchors America's missile warning architecture\, contributing an estimated $2.44 billion annually to Colorado's economy.\n\nThis is a rare opportunity to go behind the gates and experience the mission firsthand. Attendees will hear opening remarks from the base commander\, then split into groups to rotate through the morning's activities. Highlights include\, but are not limited to\, an up-close look at two of the base's flying missions -- CH-47 Chinooks from the Army Aviation Support Facility and interacting with aircrew from the Colorado Air National Guard -- a guided tour inside one of Buckley's iconic radomes (golf balls)\, a Military Working Dog demonstration\, Drone Buster display\, and a planetarium exhibit. No two stops on this tour are alike.\n\nEvent Details\n\nDate: Thursday\, July 23\, 2026\n\nTime: 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM\n\nLocation: Buckley Space Force Base\, Aurora\, Colorado (LDC\, Building 1032)\n\nTransportation: Personal vehicle to base\n\nAttire: Business Casual (may want to lean casual based on the interactive nature of the event)\n\nCost: Complimentary\n\nSpace is Limited\n\nThis event is capped at 100 attendees. A waitlist will be available once capacity is reached. Please only register if you are committed to attending -- every spot matters and unattended registrations prevent others from participating.\n\nRegistration Deadline: COB Friday\, July 10\, 2026\n\nBase Access Requirement\n\nAll attendees must submit their information for the Entry Authorization List (EAL) prior to the event\, regardless of current base access status. This is a security requirement and is separate from your registration here. Your attendance is not confirmed until both steps are complete.\n\nSubmit your EAL information: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Q3W2QQD\n\nQuestions? Contact Rob Devall at rdevall@aurorachamber.org.
