DESCRIPTION:Join Arts + Business Connection for an informative presentation by Andy Vick\, Executive Director of the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region. \n\nVick will talk about how The Cultural Office\, through its Military Arts Connection (MAC) program\, leverages the power of the arts to help create stronger community connections\, teach new skills\, and enable local military service members\, veterans\, and their families to unleash their inner creativity. The MAC program is also designed to generate new economic opportunities for local artists and arts organizations\, and to provide training and ongoing guidance for participating artists and military service organizations. Ultimately\, the goal is that MAC will support the military's emphasis on resiliency and wellness\, and help to create new and sustainable connections between the military and arts & cultural sectors in Colorado's Pikes Peak region.\n\n\nThe Arts + Business Connection (ABC) committee demonstrates and promotes the value of integrating the arts as a business tool\, by exploring how business and industry can   and does   benefit from the arts.
