DESCRIPTION:We will progressively visit businesses in the small business Yale Place Shopping Center at Havana and Yale.\n\nAt each location\, we will enjoy small bites and experience global cuisines while networking with community partners and HBID stakeholder businesses.\nPlease arrive 15 minutes prior to 3pm at Mr. Tang so we can begin the networking event promptly at 3pm. There is a tight schedule for the progressive networking from 3-5pm. \n\n\n 3PM 1st Stop: Mr. Tang Korean Specialty Soup Restaurant NEW ownership Feature Korean Cuisine Galbi Tang Sample -Beef short ribs soup with clear noodles and green onions\, egg\, dried jujube and a cooked radish. Vegetarian Option: Kimchi Jjeon Kimchi pancake\n *3:30PM 2nd Stop: Prestige Adult Day Care International Snack to Take Home - Feature Eastern European and Russian Snack/Treat from Solomon's European Market and Deli\n 3:45PM 3rd Stop: Las Fajitas -Feature Mexican Appetizers and Happy Hour Mini Skinny Margarita or Mexican Beer\, with Chips\, Guacamole\, and Salsa.\n 4:15PM 4th Stop: Shin Myung Gwan Korean BBQ Restaurant Lunch Bento Feature Korean Cuisine and BBQ: Mini Bento Beef Bulgogi or Tofu (Vegetarian) Cucumber kimchi\, Pork Mandoo Korean Dumpling\, Rice and Miso Soup\n 5PM 5th Stop: Yum Yum Cake & Pastries Dessert Feature Korean/French Assorted Macarons (GF) Enjoy Assorted Macaron Flavors: Vanilla\, Strawberry\, Blueberry\, Lemon\, Blackberry\, Mocha\, Peach\, Raspberry\, Chocolate\, & Green tea\n\n\n*update: Unfortunately\, Prestige Adult Day Care can no longer host the 40 attendees as of 3.29.2024 so On Havana Street will provide a goodie bag/treat for attendees to take home. \n\n \nWe will also feature gift card giveaways from other Yale Place businesses: iThread Eyebrow Threading and Salon\, Honey Baked Ham\, Advanced Auto Parts\, Fascinations and more OHS gift cards from other small businesses in the District to celebrate our stakeholders along On Havana Street.\n\nThere is a $30 cost to reserve your spot and help to cover the tip for each establishment. Unfortunately\, after RSVPing\, we would not be able to refund the $30 cost\, if a guest does not attend the event. We have a minimum of 40 attendees to accommodate the restaurant hosts. On Havana Street will be covering any of the additional cost of the networking and progressive sampling of global eats. If you are no longer able to attend before the April 24 date\, then please do let us know by emailing Sbibbey@aurorachamber.org and Chance@OnHavanaStreet.com so that we can open the invitation to an additional attendee and further discuss the refund.
