The Chamber has revitalized the 19^th Annual Women in Business award to recognize all hardworking business women in the community. \;The Hero Award honors an individual for their business or \;professional accomplishments\, community service\, and/or mentoring others. \;This event is filled with inspirational women that recognize the accomplishments of those helping make a difference here in our local community.The 2019 event is scheduled for Friday\, February 1\, 2019 at the Denver Airport Marriot at Gateway Park. \;

\nNamed one of Five Higher Ed Leaders to Watch\, and author of the book\, ?Impacting the Future of Higher Education?\, Dr. Takeda-Tinker champions data-driven and technology-based solutions to facilitate learner educational success and workplace employment. Her earlier work in business and as an entrepreneur\, has equipped her with the skills and ability to understand the multiple dimensions of today?s competitive and technological landscape as she leads CSU-Global to collaborate across all industries and educational institutions for program development and educational leadership.
