Job Description
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Perform member transactions, within authority, accurately and efficiently with good audit trail and within SCU guidelines and policies.
Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells products and services beneficial to members.
Answers questions about products and services and resolves problems within their authority. Refers issues beyond their authority to the next level, along with their recommendations.
Accurately input and maintain member loan/account information on computer system. Assures that appropriate records are maintained and required reports/tasks processed. Prepare closed loans for scanning and filing.
Provide training to MSR employees. Assists co-workers with technical problems and questions relating to complicated products, procedures, underwriting and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
 
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED. Requires licensing through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) within 90 days of hire. Further requires Credit Insurance Licensing through the company's insurance carrier within six months of hire. Employees are accountable to notify Human Resources of the expiration dates of these licenses, and to obtain/maintain the active status of all licenses
Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
Other Skills: 10-key operation, typewriter, basic PC skills. Should be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
