Event Description:
The Aurora Chamber’s Diversity and Inclusion Council is hosting the Third annual Diversity and Inclusion Resource Summit!

Aurora is the most diverse city in Colorado, and the purpose of this summit is to benefit the community by providing local businesses with resources on how to diversify their business and to capture the growing population of Aurora and the Eastern Metro Area. We would also like businesses to learn about the importance of creating inclusion in the workplace with both employees and customers by introducing awareness on cultural competencies that can also positively increase your bottom line.

The Summit is set up as Resource Fair where vendors have the opportunity to share resources that will help businesses diversify their products, services, workplace, or customers; create more inclusive work environments; or share marketing strategies to increase your business into different markets in the Eastern Metro Area.  You will also have the opportunity to network with citizens in the community.

The program is also featuring notable Keynote Speaker, President & CEO of ARC Thrift Stores, Lloyd Lewis!   Lloyd Lewis has served as president and CEO for Arc Thrift Stores since December 2005. Lewis is responsible for generating funding to support advocacy for persons with developmental disabilities in the state of Colorado for all Arc chapters. Arc's mission is one of advocacy and support. Changing the lives of people with intellectual and developemental disabilities.
